This week is the 30th episode of the Journey Podcast!  Thank you for listening!  I hope you have enjoyed these and learned more about God and His Word during these 30 weeks.

If you are just beginning you can jump in with this 30th episode or you can go back to the beginning.

This week is Holy Week, and today is Good Friday.  So we’re talking about the crucifixion today.  We all know Good Friday is the day Jesus died.  In order to understand exactly what was happening in his trial and execution, we need to know something about an annual festival that God gave the Hebrews over a thousand years earlier.  That festival was called Yom Kippur, in English ‘The Day of Atonement’.  So in this episode we’ll be jumping between Leviticus 16, the Good Friday accounts in the Gospels (Matthew 27, Mark 15, Luke 22:66-23:56, John 18:28-19:42), and Hebrews 9-10.
