Journey Weekly PodcastThis week we read the Book of Jonah.

Jonah is grouped with the prophetic books yet it has little prophecy.  It’s a narration of Jonah’s story, his struggle with God and God’s grace for Nineveh.  The book’s primary lesson is that God’s grace is not for Israel alone, but for whomever He chooses.

Relevant dates:

c.750 B.C. Amos was active as a prophet in Israel
